From consumer behavior to the supply chain, every aspect of the floriculture industry is undergoing massive transformation. This transformation was accelerated by COVID-19, creating a new urgency to embrace innovative ideas and new business models. Diane Blazek, Executive Director at All-America Selections/National Garden Bureau, explored this transformation during the Education Day at the 2021 edition of the International Floriculture Expo.
As the president and publisher at Ball Publishing, she led the way in connecting the commercial side of the industry with consumers via the live focus groups called Consumer Buzz Live! Diane also managed Ball Publishing’s entry into consumer garden book publishing. Since December of 2009, Diane has been leading All-America Selections and National Garden Bureau through an exciting period of growth as they establish themselves as inspirational resources in the minds of garden communicators, public gardens, growers, garden retailers and home gardeners.
