Lauderdale, FL – 9.11.25 – Floriexpo, North America’s largest business-to-business event for the floral industry, is proud to announce the appointment of two distinguished industry leaders to its esteemed Advisory Board: Lane DeVries, Executive Director of CalFlowers, and Jodi Allen, Floral Category Manager at Charlie’s Produce. 

The addition of Mr. DeVries and Ms. Allen reflects Floriexpo’s commitment to gathering diverse perspectives from across the floral supply chain to guide the event’s growth and ensure it continues to meet the evolving needs of the industry.

About the New Advisory Board Members: 

Lane DeVries serves as Executive Director, CalFlowers.  A fourth-generation flower farmer from the Netherlands, Lane DeVries brings over 40 years of experience in the U.S. floral industry. As the Executive Director of CalFlowers he has a proven track record of driving business growth and advocating for the industry. His career highlights include transforming a small floral enterprise into an industry-leading company and championing initiatives to increase floral consumption. 

Jodi Allen is Floral Category Manager, Charlie’s Produce at Charlie’s Produce, a leading fresh produce and specialty food distributor, is a key figure in the wholesale and mass market retail sectors. Her role involves managing the floral category and working with vendors to bring high-quality products to market. Her direct experience in the distribution and retail space will provide a crucial perspective on the needs of buyers and the future of floral merchandising. 

The Floriexpo Advisory Board is composed of top buyers, suppliers, and distributors from across the Americas and Canada who advise the event team on education programs, event schedules, and strategic growth. The 2026 edition of Floriexpo will be held from May 27-29 at the Broward County Convention Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
