“Right now the biggest issue in the industry is related to shipping,” said Scott Vanderwal from Pioneer Flower Farms. “There just aren’t enough trucks. But that need is being fueled by a demand for flowers that is still there and it’s been there since nearly the beginning of the pandemic. So we’re sorting out logistics on both sides that are obviously bigger than us but that process shows the strength of this industry and the power of that demand for flowers.”
