Continental Flowers has over 150 acres of its own proprietary production, as well as global sourcing capabilities from a variety of regions across Central and South America. Their customer base is comprised of over 600 wholesale and mass-market customers in the United States and Canada, with a full line of products that includes fully customizable consumer and grower’s bunches.
With one of the most distinctive displays on the Floriexpo exhibit floor that was defined by a heart made of flowers, the Continental Flowers team discussed some of the upcoming challenges they’re working through which are simultaneously familiar and new.
“The upcoming summer slowdown is something we’ve been talking about because it might be even slower than things typically get,” said Stacy McCoy from Continental Flowers. “That’s traditionally a slow time in the industry but transport and labor issues could make it even slower. No one has a crystal ball but we’re in a position to provide the support our customers need no matter the situation.”
